Wy'East Nordic will be taking a sabbatical for the 2025-26 season. Insurance costs and state licensing fees have contributed to this decision. However, cross country instruction is available through Teacup Nordic, the Mazamas, Mt. Hood Meadows and the Oregon Nordic Club. I will be concentrating on volunteering my time with special groups and events and hope to be on the trails and slopes throughout the season. Pure Telemark
Wy’East Nordic has been offering Telemark ski lessons since 1983. This unique turn offers the grace and power you can use in the backcountry and in groomed areas. Our classes are 2 ½ hour private lessons, taught either at Summit Pass or Timberline (timberlinelodge.com) All ability levels are covered. We recognize rental gear may be difficult to find. Please contact The Mountain Shop in PDX (mountainshop.net) for info or call us for suggestions. All lessons are taught midweek only.
Private lessons are 2 1/2 hours for $125 and $150 for 2 people. Lift tickets are not included. Beginning and intermediate lessons available.

Cross Country and Skating Lessons
Our lessons are taught at the Teacup Nordic area and in the Government Camp Camp area.
We offer 1-2 person private lessons and small family lessons. Small group lessons available upon request.
Our lessons are 2 1/2 hours and we will be teaching MIDWEEK ONLY this year due to the heavy traffic and congestion that weekends bring.

Teacup Lake Nordic requests a $20/day donation for the trail fee. Kids 17 and under ski free! Yearly passes are available at the Teacup website.
Please plan on bringing a backpack with extra clothes, water and snacks for the lessons.
